Wellspring Cooperative is seeking a Half-time, Communications/Admin Assistant
Wellspring Cooperative is a non-profit that is developing a network of worker-owned businesses (cooperatives) in Springfield, MA. We are looking for a Communications/Administrative Assistant. The assistant hired for this position will be responsible for external communications such as: managing our website, social media posts, utilizing social media ads and marketing, creating online content, coordinating/distributing our quarterly newsletter, and managing multiple mailing lists, etc. The assistant will also be responsible for helping with internal communications such as scheduling meetings, assembling and making background material available, updating contact information, etc.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and able to take initiative on tasks without continuous direction. They will also be energetic, detail-oriented, conscientious, able to meet deadlines without issues, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates should have in-depth knowledge or an ability to learn programs such as Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Survey Monkey, Mailchimp, Little Green Light, etc.
Location: Springfield, MA, some remote work is possible. Job Type: Part-time

Experience with managing a website and social media (Facebook, Instagram,
Experience with technologies and best practices for campaigns across multiple platforms (Little Green Light, Mailchimp, Canva, Desktop publishing)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
