There are many ways to support Wellspring.

Donate

Get half your donation back- take advantage of our Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC) program

Donate $1,000 or more and get half of your donation back! We can raise $100,000 in donations and have $50,000 in state tax credits to give away for the year 2019. 

As a certified Community Development Corporation, Wellspring received $50,000 Community Investment Tax Credits from the state of Massachusetts. Anyone giving a donation of $1,000 or more is eligible to receive half of that donation back in the form of a tax credit (if you owe state taxes) or cash if you don't owe state taxes. This applies to  out of state folks as well. For more details, see our CITC page.

Regular donations

For donations under $1,000 or if we've run out of CITC credits for the current year, please support our work and be as generous as you can. No donation is too small (nor too large). All contributions are tax deductible. You can use the Paypal donate button below - credit cards accepted.

VOLUNTEER

There are a few different ways that you could plug into Wellspring work:

Join a committee.

    • Development Committee - oversees fundraising
    • Business Development Committee - supports co-op development work
    • Finance Committee - keeps our finances in order
    • Communications - responsible for getting the word out about Wellspring, co-ops, and related work.
    • Labor-Co-op Committee - brings together labor movement activists & unions with the co-op movement.

Help out on a specific task, event, project. Here are some current needs, but if you have a particular interest or skill that you're willing to contribute, please let us know.

    • Photography
    • Host a houseparty - we can provide a model and support
    • Like us on facebook
    • Come to the Indian Orchard Food Truck Festival, 117 Main St., Oct. 12, 2019 11:00am-6:00pm. Come to a workshop to build and plant a raised bed garden (around 11:30, exact time to be determined). Wellspring and Wellspring Harvest will have some stage time around 3:30.
